to claims, or protect the rights, property or safety of our company,
employees, customers, or the public.
3. Retention of Your Information
Personal information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other

fulfill the identified purposes will be destroyed, erased, or made

When passing information over the Internet, information is protected
through the use of 128 bit encryption, specifically through the use of
the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. However, perfect security on the
Internet does not yet exist and we cannot warrant that our transfer of
data is impenetrable or invulnerable to hackers. Furthermore, when
passing information over email (such as the final report for the website
review), information is unsecured. The user accepts all responsibility
for this low level of security when submitting a website review request.
Internal data is shared through secured transmissions and maintained
in secured databases.
The Company may hire certain outside contractors to perform services on
our behalf (such as packaging and shipping). We will only provide those

The Company will only disclose information if required to do so by law,
legal process or if in good faith it is deemed necessary for the public
interest.

The Company has designated a Privacy Officer who is accountable for our
compliance with this privacy policy and all applicable privacy laws. You
may contact us at any time to review, alter or remove any personal

POLICY:
It is the policy of [Company Name] to ensure that e-mail is used
primarily for the conducting of Company business, and is not used in any
illegal, offensive, or unethical manner. The Company also prohibits such access for conducting non-Company
commercial business, and for excessive personal use. Employees are prohibited from the unauthorized access to other
employee's e-mail messages. The Company does reserve the right to access
any employee’s e-mail for any business purpose, and also for inspection
for disciplinary or legal actions. PURPOSE: This policy describes [Company Name's guidelines with regard to access
to and disclosure of electronic mail messages sent or received by
[Company Name] employees through use of the [Company Name] e-mail
systems. The Company respects the individual privacy of its employees.
However, employee privacy does not extend to the employee's work-related
conduct or to the use of Company-provided equipment or supplies.
Employees should be aware that the following guidelines may affect their
privacy in the workplace. All employees share the Information Technology facilities at [Company
Name]. These facilities are provided to employees for the purpose of

personal use of these facilities, including computers, printers, e-mail
and Internet access. However, these facilities must be used responsibly
by everyone, since misuse by even a few individuals has the potential to
negatively impact productivity, disrupt company business and interfere
with the work or rights of others. Therefore, all employees are expected
to exercise responsible and ethical behavior when using the Company’s
Information Technology facilities. Any action that may expose the
Company to risks of unauthorized access to data, disclosure of
information, legal liability, or potential system failure is prohibited
and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of
employment and/or criminal prosecution.
SCOPE:
This policy applies to all [Company Name] employees worldwide and to all
employees of [Company Name's subsidiaries and affiliated companies. It
is the responsibility of all operating units to ensure that these
policies are clearly communicated, understood and followed.
Email policies are risk management strategies that
establish acceptable use of company email accounts,
shielding an employer from legal liability and protecting
network security and productivity. |
Why do you need an electronic communications
policy?
Email and instant messaging (IM) are convenient and
productive ways for your business to send everything from day-to-day
correspondence to highly sensitive and confidential documents. Without
an email policy in place, however, electronic communications can pose
serious threats to your business.
An electronic communications policy that includes a
retention policy can be your organization's best defense against legal
liabilities, helping ensure compliance with numerous regulations such as
Sarbanes-Oxley.
If your organization uses email, instant messaging
or other forms of electronic communications, it is critical that you:
a) have an electronic communications policy in place; b) properly educate your employees on the policy's importance, and; c) consistently enforce your policy.
================================================================ Email policy

this policy to establish standard practices and guidelines for the
responsible, safe, and productive use of the electronic mail (e-mail),

| Terms of Use Agreements for Web
Sites Just like in traditional brick-and-mortar stores,
libraries, parking lots, and amusement parks, you need to
post notices and policies on your Web site that govern the
use of materials, services and goods from the site. Web sites should typically include a Terms of Use
Agreement that is intended to act as a contract between
the Web site owner and the viewers/customers of the site.
The contract needs to be carefully worded to protect the
company from liability and address the key terms and
conditions for the provision of information, goods or
services. The contract should be conspicuously displayed and
available. Ideally, each page of the site or key portions of
the site should have a statement that use of the site or the
purchase of goods and services through the site is governed
by the contract with a hyperlink to the full contract. The general expectation is that such online agreements
are enforceable.
Key Provisions of Terms of Use Agreements
Important provisions in Terms of Use Agreements include: -
Limited Right to Use. The agreement should
identify any limitations on the permitted use of any
information made available, together with notices
regarding the restrictions on copying, re-use and
distribution of information provided.
-
Indemnification. The agreement can require
the user to indemnify, defend and hold you and your
affiliates, harmless from any liability, loss, claim,
and expense, including attorney's fees and expenses,
related to a user's violation of the agreement or use of
the Web site.
-
Disclaimers. You generally want to make
disclaimers, with notice that you are providing the
information "as is" with no representations and
warranties.
-
Forum Selection. Here, the company states
that any dispute or claim that arises must be brought in
the city that is the company's principal place of
business. This may help you avoid being dragged into
litigation in foreign states or territories.
-
Remedies. The limitation of the remedies
available to a disgruntled party (e.g., a waiver of any
indirect, consequential, or speculative damages or lost
profits) should be featured prominently in the
agreement.
-
Statute of Limitations. The agreement could
include a shortened statute of limitations in the event
of any claim to be brought by an unhappy customer. For
example: "Any cause of action by the customer must be
instituted within one (1) year after purchase or use be
forever waived and barred."

Arizona @
Your Service Privacy Policy
Thank you for visiting Arizona @ Your
Service™ and reviewing our Privacy
Policy statement. Arizona @ Your
Service™ provides a convenient "Front
Door" to various information and
services available from the State of
Arizona by linking you to various other
web sites. Though this web portal does
not request information from you
directly, individual web sites you
access through the portal may request
specific information from you. This
statement is included to inform you
solely about the information that could
be collected online as a result of
visiting Arizona @ Your Service™ itself
and not as a result of following
a link from Arizona @ Your Service™ to
reach a State agency's website or online
service. All individual agency web
sites of the State of Arizona are
required to contain a Privacy Policy
Statement that describes what
information is obtained online, how the
agency uses that information, and what
steps are being taken to ensure the
security of customer data. Your rights
to privacy are of utmost importance to
the State of Arizona in building trust
and confidence when conducting business
through the Internet.
Arizona @ Your Service™ offers many of
the services online that you might
otherwise transact in person. Our goal
is to provide citizens with a more
convenient and efficient means in which
to interact with Arizona government. If
at any time you choose not to proceed
with a transaction offered through the
Arizona @ Your Service™ Portal, your
choice will in no way affect your
ability to receive benefits or
services. If you prefer to apply for
benefits or services in person, you may
do so at the respective State agency
providing such benefits and/or services.
Information Collected and Stored
Automatically
Arizona @ Your Service™ does not use
"cookies" to gather information during
your visit. Individual web sites you
access through the portal may use
"cookies", however, and are required to
define their use in the separate privacy
policy statement located on the specific
site. The web server that hosts Arizona
@ Your Service™ does gather certain
information about the visit
automatically in a standard log file.
This information never identifies you
personally and consists of only the
following items: - The Internet domain (for
example, "xcompany.com" if you use a
private Internet access account, or
"yourschool.edu" if you connect from
a university's domain) from which
you access the website;
- The IP address (an IP address is
a number that is automatically
assigned to your computer whenever
you are surfing the Web) from which
you access the website; and
- The date and time of your
access.
We use this information to gather
statistics about the amount of use the
site receives. Again, we do not
automatically record information about
you as an individual. This information
is not shared, sold, or otherwise
disseminated by Arizona @ Your Service™.
Although Arizona @ Your Service™ does
not currently use cookies, future
releases will necessitate their use
along with other session enhancement
methods. These will be thoroughly
evaluated in order to determine their
benefit to both the client and the
service provider before being
implemented. This privacy statement will
also be updated to describe exactly what
information is being collected and how
to disable or refuse cookies.
Information You Provide Information collected from an
application submitted online will be
treated in the same manner as the
information collected from an
application submitted on a hard copy to
the applicable State agency. The
information you disclose to the agency
(either through Arizona @ Your Service™
or directly) will generally become a
matter of public record pursuant to A.
R. S. §§ 39-121, et seq., which means
that the agency may be required to
divulge certain information in response
to a public records request or in
response to a warrant, subpoena, or
other court order.
The applicable State Agency website may
require that you enter personal
information (e.g., your name, home
address, birth date, social security
number, and credit card number) when
applying for certain benefits and
services described on that website.
Those services may also reference common
infrastructure utilities that are
provided by Arizona @ Your Service™.
These utilities provide the agency with
a means to obtain specific information
or to facilitate a specific functional
requirement of the online transaction
being requested.
As an example, Arizona @ Your
Service™ maintains a central credit card
payment interface that agencies can use
as part of their online services
applications. This utility will accept
only the pertinent credit card
authorization data necessary to validate
and fulfill the purchase. The
cardholder's name, credit card number,
and expiration date are obtained by the
utility and used only to complete the
credit card payment portion of the
online transaction. The data is used
only for the fulfillment of the payment
and is not retained by Arizona @ Your
Service™. Not all agency online applications
use the services of Arizona @ Your
Service™, nor are they required to.
Please be assured that your personal
information will be held in strictest
confidence while Arizona @ Your Service™
processes your online transaction and
will not be shared, sold, or otherwise
disseminated to any outside person or
entity, except as required or authorized
by law. Please refer to respective benefits
and/or services web pages of each
individual agency for disclosure of
when, how, and to whom specific
information will be released to third
parties, as specified in A.R.S. §
41-4152 (5) and (6). If you have further
questions regarding how a State agency
will use the information you submit
online, please contact the applicable
agency directly.

links directing the student to the
appropriate section(s) of this site
where their information may be found. We
do not verify the age of the student

Privacy Statement
SCA has
established the following Seiko Website Privacy Policy to protect ...
Business directories that SCA creates
may, however, contain information
|
"Customer Identifiable" Information Protecting one's privacy is of paramount importance to SCA.
SCA has developed a policy recognizing and protecting the
privacy of consumers and retail customers who browse SCA's
www.SeikoUSA.com website for its SEIKO watch/clock brand.
The company maintains strict consumer and customer
information privacy policies and uses appropriate
technologies to safeguard such information from unauthorized
intrusions. SCA acknowledges that the growth of online
services, including Internet services, has created
additional privacy concerns, especially for consumers. Such
concerns primarily focus on the protection of "customer
identifiable" information which individuals or retail
customers reasonably expect to be kept private. "Customer
identifiable" information is that information which can be
associated with a specific individual or entity (for
example, a customer's name, address or telephone number,
e-mail address and certain information about online
activities that are directly linked to them). Commonly, it
is necessary for companies, governmental agencies, or other
organizations to collect "customer identifiable" information
in order to conduct business and provide services. (For
example, SCA may collect "customer identifiable"
information, such as name, address, telephone number, etc.,
in the course of responding to consumer/retail customer
inquiries about its products and/or requests for product
servicing.) It is usual for Internet activities to follow
similar patterns. Customers sign-up for Internet access
service and customarily are asked to provide name, address,
telephone number and credit card or other information. This
is typical when the consumer desires to order products or
services. Likewise, business websites may request visitors
to provide information about themselves; in particular, when
product information, services or merchandise are requested,
but often this is just to be able to better aim the
company's products/services to the consumer's
interests/desires. SCA Online Privacy Policy SCA has established the following Seiko Website Privacy
Policy to protect "customer identifiable" information. The
policy covers SCA, its subsidiaries and affiliates and
applies to all customer identifiable information that SCA
gathers when a consumer or retail customer uses an SCA
online website (SCA website). It is SCA's intention to
continue to protect "customer identifiable" information
consistent with applicable federal, state and local laws.
SCA Protects Online "Customer Identifiable" Information as
follows: Disclosure. SCA will not sell, trade, or disclose to third
parties any "customer identifiable" information derived from
a consumer or retail customer's use of an SCA website
without the consent of the consumer or the retail customer,
as the case may be (except as may be legally required or in
the case of imminent physical harm to the customer or
others). Also, when SCA utilizes other agents, contractors
or companies to perform services on its behalf, SCA will
ensure that the company or agent will protect your "customer
identifiable" information consistent with this Policy. In
the event SCA includes your name, address and any other
"customer identifiable" information in a directory that SCA
creates for its Authorized Dealers, etc., SCA will give you
the opportunity to have your information excluded from the
directories. Business directories that SCA creates may,
however, contain information obtained from other sources.
Collection & Use. SCA will collect and use "customer
identifiable" information for billing purposes, to
anticipate and resolve problems with product servicing or
possibly to create and inform you of products and services
that better meet your needs. While SCA may use your
"customer identifiable" information, together with
information obtained via other sources, to market new
products or services which SCA considers may be of interest
to you, SCA will not disclose your "customer identifiable"
information to third parties who may want to market other
products to you. Customer Choice. A consumer or retail customer may choose
not to receive direct marketing communications from SCA in
connection with SCA online services. Upon such notice (a)
SCA will not contact that customer directly with marketing
messages about SCA online services, and (b) will not use
"customer identifiable" information obtained from that
customer's registration for or use of an SCA online service
to contact that customer with marketing messages about SCA
products and services. A customer may choose not to receive
such messages by mail or by telephone. |
